  2. Someone should have added irregardless to this list, but regardless of the omission, it is an informative list! 😉

    • Irregardless is becoming so common, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it added to the dictionaries in the near future – if it hasn’t been already. I keep reminding myself that language evolves and every generation has probably had to accept equally annoying abominations as they ‘mature’.

    Regarding your note on “from whence,” I should like to clarify that Tolkien himself never wrote that line, but the scriptwriters for the films.
